Audit & Assurance

The success of a business heavily relies on trustworthy financial information that fosters confidence and minimizes uncertainties. Reliable information must be supported by the appropriate level and type of professional assurance, which can range from statutory audits of financial statements to various other forms of assurances and attestations tailored to meet the diverse needs of information users. We assess the financial statements to determine if the audit evidence gathered for each audit objective reduces the risk of significant misstatements in the financial statements to an adequately low level. Our audit opinion is formulated after scrutinizing the financial statements and evaluating all audit evidence in compliance with the relevant auditing standards set forth by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), as applicable in Pakistan. We take into account the Financial Reporting Framework, accounting policies and practices, internal controls, business and industry specifics, as well as financial performance during our review.
